ALPET which started its operation in the beginning of 2005 in Albania has become a leading and reliable fuel distribution company thanks to its leading sectorial investments realized with the “Positive Energy” principle.

ALPET’s activities in Albania turned into a success story in a short time and its annual return reached to 50 million EURO among the companies which are active in Albania and thus, ALPET was recorded as the 7th biggest company in the country by this figure. ALPET provides a significant employment with its 510 staffs working for 100 filling stations in Albania as well as carrying Dinamo Tiran – which is one of the most famous sports club in Albania – to the championship in the Albanian Super League 6 years later with the support given.

A Praise Made by Mr. Köksal Toptan, the T.N.A. Chairman, for ALPET Albania

Mr. Köksal Toptan, the T.N.A. Chairman, praised ALPET, which has made a good impression with its successes, during the interview with the Anatolia News Agency while visiting Albania on 25 December 2008 and by exemplifying ALPET’s waving Turkish Flag at its 100 filling stations in Albania, suggested that Turkish Businessmen should invest in Albania.

Albania was the first country where ALPET that became a brand name in the Balkans as a result of the great steps it took and the fresh breath it brought to the sector, invested in the field of Energy. Albania was chosen as a central point for the fuel sector in the Balkans by considering the deep historical friendship, brotherhood relationships and geographical logistics between Turkey and Albania.

Mr. İbrahim Aktoz, ALPET Albania General Manager, stated with regard to the activities of ALPET that ALPET has a market share at 30% in Albania and it has become the biggest fuel company in this country during his interview with the Anatolia News Agency.

Mr. İbrahim Aktoz said that they have filling stations in 24 of 28 cities in Albania, they have 100 filling stations throughout the country, and the ALPET filling stations are situated at central and strategic locations. Mr. İbrahim Aktoz also said that they have brought 3 important standards to the filling stations in Albania: corporate identity vision, HSE standard according to EU norms, and high standards in fuel and service quality. Mr. Aktoz added that ALPET brought the “Euro 4” diesel gasoline, “100 octane” unleaded gasoline and vehicle identification system in Albania for the first time and he highlighted that ALPET set up first satellite watch fuel automation system in the fuel sector.

Mr. İbrahim Aktoz, ALPET Albania General Manager, stated that Vil Oil & Alpet Albania was deemed worthy of the “GOLD CATEGORY-GENEVA 2008” award in the “International Star Award for Quality” as a result of a 10-month study carried out in 93 countries by Business Initiative Directions, Madrid-Spain and Geneva International Quality Star which are some of the most significant international assessment bodies and he also stated that they will carry on the product and service quality and the infrastructure works continuously.
